Grand Finale

Yesterday morning I had posted a Carhenge photo titled “Quiet Start” capturing the pre-dawn colors on the 4th of July.  Just like a fireworks show, Mother Nature provided The “Grand Finale” during the course of the sunrise.  Overall I was there for about 45 minutes to see the entire sunrise, but the two photos I shared were taken just 13 minutes apart.   I loved how the cloud formation had broken apart to allow the rising sun to cast faint sunbeams upwards into the sky.  The transformation of colors from blues and pinks to golds and hints of red and orange was amazing.  It was an early start to the day, but observing the waking of nature was truly inspiring.

What will you see today that will inspire you?

Grand Finale

The greatest sunrise picture I’ve ever seen!
And, for me, the added attraction of Carhenge.
    Thanks for making my day.

Hello Jim, It was a great pleasure meeting you at Carhenge last August during the celebration/fundraiser. Thank you very much for your kind words. I have spent a lot of great hours at Carhenge and plan on spending many more there. I would like to thank you for making my day.
